Who are KTT Switches?
KTT is a Chinese brand of mechanical keyboard switches that have popped up over the last couple of years, they started to appear in the scene (as far as I’m aware of) from late 2020 – early 2021 however, the company that manufactures them boast having made keyboard switches for 10 years and honestly the experience shows. KTT Provide extremely high quality yet affordable switch options with most costing around the $0.30-$0.50 mark, which honestly is unbelievable considering the how good they are. A quick search on social media will provide you with hundreds of shocked reviewers singing them praise, and all asking the same question: How can a switch this affordable be so good?
KTT’s Available Switches:
Currently KTT has a large line up of mostly linear switches, these appear to be their favorite, although they do have a small offering of tactile switches available too. They vary in that 3 and 5 post options are available and that some of their newer offerings are starting to throw away the old clam shell top housing for a newer 4 post style. Their colors are usually cute, with the use of lots of Pastel colors in the latest switches, whilst their older offerings have a more traditional look of clear top, white bottom and various colored stems. All KTT switches come with factory lubing, and minimal stem wobble.
Their current line up consists of the following:

A Quick Review:
Now we will be releasing in depth longer reviews of some of our favorite switches but, for now please have our thoughts on a few KTT switches that we think are bangers:
KTT Coconut Latte Linear Switches:
These are hands down our favorite switches at the moment, with a very satisfying creamy/thocky sound, and a fairly light press that really gives a fast, poppy typing experience. As far as value for money goes, we can’t think of another linear switch that can beat these. Also, like all KTT switches they have very little stem wobble. If you're looking for some for your own keyboard or wish to know more please click here.
KTT Hyacinth Linear Switches:
These are quite similar to the coconut latte in value, sound and feel although distinct in their own right, they are slightly heavier and give a more precise typing experience. They are made of newer and more modern material, as well as use the newer 4 post style switch design over the old clamshell style. Sound wise I give the edge to the coconut latte which has a slightly deeper sound but the Hyacinth is slightly smoother from factory. KTT Red Wine Linear Switches:
The KTT Red Wine is by far the Thockiest of the bunch, and although they all do have a similar sound profile, the Red Wine with its longer travel just has a deepness that sets it slightly apart from the others, aside from that it is a 3 pin making it more universal than the Coconut Latte and Hyacinth. As for feel, the longer travel does remove some of the pop felt from the others but it still feels crisp and responsive. KTT Kang White V3 Linear Switches:
The Kang White V3’s was the first KTT Switch we tried here at What The Thock HQ, and from the get go we were shocked by it sound, feel and quality for the price! We received it in a sample pack we ordered and could not believe this budget switch competed and even beat (in our opinion) many more expensive and well-known switches, and it still holds true today! The Kang Whites boast a heavier touch compared to the others listed here, and has the longer 4mm travel as per the Red Wines, but feels great to type on thanks to its progressive spring, bringing back that feeling of pop felt in the Coconut Latte and Hyacinth. If you’re undecided and want the best of both worlds we recommend grabbing these. If you're looking for some for your own keyboard or wish to know more please click here.
We hope you enjoyed this and found some value (like what you’ll find in a pack of KTT Switches) and whether you’re a keyboard hobbyist just looking to try something new, a gamer looking for a new fast and poppy linear switch or just someone who is curious about all the hype and wanted to know more, we hope that you would try give KTT switches a try!
